Born out of the necessity for special consideration of todays advanced automotive safety systems, we test and verify vehicle safety systems to make sure sensors are initialized and properly calibrated, to ensure they work as designed.
As vehicles continue to get more advanced, so does the complexity of the sensors and systems that guide them. Today’s vehicles are more of a computer on wheels when compared to vehicles even just 5 or 10 years ago, and they are loaded with sensitive equipment that can easily be knocked out of adjustment if they are in an accident. Most vehicle manufacturers state that these systems need to be checked and recalibrated any time it is involved in an accident, or even if a bumper cover is removed and put back on.
One of the reasons that vehicle safety systems have evolved so rapidly is not just to protect occupants, but also to help protect pedestrians. This technology has been so helpful in protecting the life of pedestrians that manufacturers are being required to include Automatic Emergency Braking systems on new vehicles. This is known as a form of Advanced Driver Assistance System, commonly referred to as ADAS.
Our Services
-
ADAS Calibrations
We offer ADAS calibrations for most vehicles, and specialize in servicing vehicles that have been repaired after a collision, have had windshield replacements, or alignment work done. We can also help diagnose other OBD diagnostic trouble codes.
-
Module Programming
Some automotive components and sensors are programmed with specific vehicle build information in order to work correctly. If these become damaged and replaced the new module will need to be programmed to the vehicle and we can help with most of these. Often times the old module is required to pull the programming data off of but if is not available we can usually still help.
Just a few reasons why we believe that proper automotive calibrations are important:
Safety
For vehicle occupants and everyone else sharing the road
Peace of Mind
Not having to question if your vehicle has any underlying issues
Confidence
Knowing that you can trust your vehicle to operate consistently.
